Sterling, VA – March 8, 2022 – Spectubular Technologies, a division of Synfuels Americas, has developed a proprietary, fully automated manufacturing process that creates filter tubes with some of the smallest slots available on the market. Using a patented precision laser cutting process, the Spectubular production line creates tube filters with slots as small as 10 microns, making it especially useful for the manufacturing of pre-filtration, post-filtration and other micron filtration applications.
This process will be on display at Filtech, March 8-10 in Cologne, Germany.
The Spectubular filter tubes offer several advantages over competing technologies:
“After developing these tubes originally for the energy industry, we quickly identified many other industries and applications that could benefit from our small-slot filter tubes,” said Judd Swift, President and CEO, “We are excited to bring this technology to market at Filtech and play a role in the expanding trend toward energy-efficient filtration.”
Spectubular Technologies’ full production system includes incoming inspection, laser cutting, post-processing and outgoing inspection components. Any combination of these components can be integrated into an existing production system, and production lines can be customized for the needs of a wide range of filter manufacturers. The manufacturing process can accommodate the production of higher porosity, smaller slots, custom slot shapes and complex geometries.
